Will Everton continue their summer spree with a move for this Borussia Dortmund sensation?

everton boss Ronald Koeman is allegedly set to continue his mammoth summer spending spree by making a move for Borussia Dortmund’s young sensation Emre Mor, claim reports in The Sun. It is understood that the Merseyside outfit have been alerted to the availability of the exciting 20-year-old

attacker and are now prepared to battle it out with some of Europe’s top sides to sign him.
Mor, who only joined the Bundesliga side last summer from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland, could be available for as little as £12 million, with first-team opportunities at Dortmund next year in doubt.
Would Mor boost options at Goodison Park?
Admittedly it was their first competitive game back from the summer break, but it was clear to see from Everton’s laboured 1-0 victory over MFK Ruzomberok that they need to add creativity in attack.
The loss of Romelu Lukaku means that Everton’s wide men can no longer just pump balls into the area, or into his feet, and expect something to be crafted out of nothing, and it showed in their tepid approach in the final third last Thursday.
The likes of Wayne Rooney, Davy Klaassen and Sandro Ramirez will no doubt settle into life at Goodison Park eventually but, for Everton to challenge that top six, they need an immediate impact.
And this is where Mor could step in and really provide big impetus in front of goal, often looking to create opportunities in the final third for himself rather than rely on team-mate to finish things off.
His natural ability with the ball at his feet leaves him dangerous and almost impossible to tackle if he’s in full stride, with his sleight frame and a low centre of gravity helping him glide past his man.
The Turk’s endeavour in the opposition half can be highlighted by just how many take-ons he attempted in the Bundesliga last season, trying 50 in just 12 matches, and although he came out successful on 28 of those occasions he carries the productivity that Everton need this season.

Perhaps the only stumbling block between Mor and a deal to Everton is Koeman’s obsession with securing Swansea City man Gylfi Sigurdsson, who he clearly believes has the creative spark needed.
